We definitely cannot talk about Small Business Saturday without mentioning our customers, whose embrace is the essential ingredient to any operation knowing success. In that spirit, to our community here & beyond, I am sending my most heartfelt thank you to each and every person we have had the pleasure of meeting over the years (and those we haven't met yet!). Thank you for taking the time to hear our story, for supporting us through purchases, social media, word of mouth — we quite literally would not be here without you!

It’s you — the thoughtful humans who take a chance and invest in the work of our small operations, who bring friends along with you, share your own stories, show up for events and send kind notes — that make it all real. Any small business owner knows how a meaningful interaction with a customer can refuel you, sometimes making all of the difference. So THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart, and with the punctuation mark of the locally based teams you enable all of us to employ. For every $1 spent at a small business, it is estimated that $.67 stays in that community. That is beyond powerful.

My business began in the 180 sq foot space pictured here, without climate control, hauling buckets of water from a mop sink to fill my dye vats (mostly old pots sourced from thrift stores). I share this so any nascent dreamers out there reading this know that your small business can start anywhere 💓
