Retail Manager Job - January 2022 Start Date

About the Position: The primary objective of the Retail Manager role is to lead the Flagship team in meeting sales goals while ensuring daily operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is a detail oriented problem solver, has strong relationship building and communication skills and passed experience in retail and managing a team. The Store Manager will report to the Sales Director and must be available to work on the weekends. 

Requirements: As the Retail Manager, you are responsible for providing exceptional service in all aspects of the sales floor - greeting customers and sharing our story, selling, product knowledge, styling, cash wrap, restock and overall shopkeeping. In addition to the day-to-day operations of the shop, you will be empowered to support our merchandising strategies, create trust based relationships with our clients and brainstorm and execute both in-store and external events. 

Sales & Services 

  • Own customer service experience, building client relationships after each transaction from ensuring customer satisfaction to ongoing clienteling efforts.
  • Maintaining customer correspondence in person and virtually on the Shopify Chat platform and via email. 
  • Support the MBS marketing efforts by providing video and photo content from the store as requested. 
  • Organize sidewalk and instore sales and events with assistance from the Sales Director and Sales Team. Liaise with outside vendors and assist in the creative assets for event promotion. Act as point of contact and day of support for external pop-up events.

Personnel 

  • Manage the retail team with support from the Sales Director.
  • Assist with hiring, training new retail team members and ensuring that the store is appropriately staffed on a daily basis.

Merchandising and Inventory 

  • Own inventory quantities by regularly checking that Shopify and Katana are reflecting correct inventory levels. 
  • Assist with processing, receiving, and organizing new inventory. 
  • Relay observed trends, interest, and customer feedback for future orders. 
  • Ensure the store is regularly re-merchandised and kept visually fresh, tidy and appealing.

Marketing Manager - January 2022 Start Date

Role & Benefits: Full-Time, salaried position with flexible hours, working on-site a minimum of 3 Days a week after onboarding is complete. About the Position: This is a brand new position at our company. Currently, our CEO runs all marketing endeavors with the support of a digital marketing agency. We are seeking an exceptional candidate to help us lay the foundation for a robust, DTC program as we grow our company through effective marketing campaigns.  This includes overseeing creative as well as financial aspects of our marketing endeavors with the goal of increased sales and brand awareness. Management of market research, content creation, digital campaign oversight and analysis are required.

Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, extensive knowledge of the fashion industry and the sustainable fashion space. Graphic Design abilities are a major plus. Willingness to construct a new role with us, and an interest in working cooperatively in a small team. Ability to oversee all marketing channels, including social media, and email campaigns. The Marketing Manager will work with our internal production team to keep abreast of all new product releases to schedule our primary marketing calendar. The Marketing Manager will work in cooperation with our Director of Sales to implement our sales plan, aligning efforts between our in-store, online and wholesale programs.
