BUST: Start with the measuring tape at the apex of your chest, then wrap it around you, maintaining the same height across your back, before meeting the tape at the point where you started.
WAIST: Locate your natural waist by feeling along your side for the spot on your torso where your rib cage ends. Once you have found it, take a deep exhale, relax (aka, no sucking in!) and wrap the measuring tape around your center, letting it meet the end of the tape in a way that allows you to still breath naturally (without holding it taught), to identify your true waist.
HIPS: Perhaps the most confusing measurement, we consider your hip measurement the point around your thighs that sits on the same line as the widest point of your behind.
LENGTH : We measure the length of the garment (dresses, tops and layering pieces) from the shoulder seam. With our Everyday, Muse and Knot Styles, this means the back shoulder seam, which usually falls a few inches below the top of the wearer’s shoulder (the exact number of inches varies based on each person). For bottoms, we measure the length from the top of the waistband to the hem of the pant or skirt.
